Privacy Policy

When you browse the site

You do not need an account to use Your Drive, and we do not ask visitors for a name or email address.

• Hosting logs. Our host, Vercel, receives your IP address, browser type and the pages you request in order to serve the site and keep it secure.
• Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are used. It reports aggregate figures and does not build a profile of you across other sites.
• Advertising. See the next section.

Advertising and cookies

We show ads from Google AdSense on some pages. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this site and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.

Ads only appear on our browse pages, clearly labelled “Advertisement”. They are never part of a park's listing.

• You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info.
• Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
• You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
• If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, ads that use cookies or similar technologies are shown only according to the choices you make in the consent message.

When you list or claim an RV park

If you use the form to add a park or claim an existing listing, we collect:

• The park's name, description, website, type, city, state, amenities and nightly price.
• Your name, email address and, if you give it, phone number, and your role at the park.
• Proof that you run the park: a link, a note, and/or a file you upload.

We use this only to check that you are entitled to manage the listing, to publish it, and to contact you about it.

• The details of the park (name, description, website, location, amenities, price) become public on the site once approved. Your contact details and proof are not published.
• The submission is emailed to us, with any uploaded proof file attached, and a copy of the form data (not the file) is kept in our database so we can review it.
• We keep a submission for as long as the listing exists, or while we review it. Rejected submissions are kept only as long as we need them to handle follow-up.

To limit spam, we briefly use the IP address of a submission to cap how many can be sent from one connection in an hour.

Who else handles your information

We use these services to run the site. We do not sell your personal information.

• Vercel hosts the site and provides analytics.
• Supabase stores our listings and submissions in its database.
• Resend delivers the submission emails to us.
• Google provides the AdSense advertising described above.

Some listings come from OpenStreetMap contributors. That is public map data about places, not information about our visitors, and we do not send your information to OpenStreetMap.

These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the site from abuse.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to correct or delete the information you sent us, and to remove or change a listing you manage, by contacting us below. If you are in the EEA, the UK or California, you may also have rights to access your information, object to how it is used, or ask us not to sell or share it. We do not sell personal information.

Your Drive is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has sent us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
